2008 Urban Studies Senior Seminar (URBS 680) at San Francisco State University
Urban Studies Senior seminar students are working on twelve projects for ten clients during the spring 2008 semester in two separate sections. The projects were selected through an RFP process (see RFP 2008).They will present PowerPoint slides of their findings to clients and BSS College faculty on April 30th and May 5. 4. Field research on street vendors in San Francisco's Mission District (Client: Mission Economic Development Agency -- MEDA)
5. Traffic Calming – best practices and test case design proposal (Client: SF Municipal Transportation Agency -- MTA)
6. Using demographic analysis to document change in San Francisco neighborhoods (Client: SF Board of Supervisors, Sophie Maxwell's Office)
