Glenn C. Bouchard
Glenn C. Bouchard is a student in the Master's in Public Administration (M.P.A.) Program, with an emphasis on policy analysis. His professional background is in the workforce development arena, where most recently he worked as an Employment Programs Supervisor at the Monterey County One-Stop Career Center. He currently provides consulting services to several workforce development agencies in California.
Noel Bouche
Noel Bouche is a student of Urban Studies at San Francisco State University. He is interested in affordable housing and its role in the success of regions throughout the United States.
Tiffany Chimaroké
Tiffany Chimaroké is an Urban Studies major who recently returned from studying urban and regional planning at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in Fall 2001. After graduating in May 2002, she will be working as an associate urban planner before applying to graduate school. Her interests include sustainable development, environmental health, and urban design. This is her second year contributing to Urban Action.
William Gibson
William Gibson is an Urban Studies major graduating in May 2002. He is interested in housing policy and community and regional development; and plans to pursue a Master's degree in City Planning.
Pete Jordan
Pete Jordan is an Urban Studies major at SFSU after spending twelve years washing dishes in thirty-three states. He intends to earn a Master's degree in Urban Planning, then, as a transportation planner, work to provide viable urban transportation alternatives to the automobile.
Tina Palivos
Tina Palivos is working toward a second B.A. in International Relations at SFSU. She completed her first B.A. in Anthropology and French studies from the University of Michigan and also studied at the Institute on Gender, Sexuality, and Society at the University of Amsterdam. After spending a few years in the internet and software industries, she returned to school to pursue a Master's degree in Public Policy and a Ph.D. in International Relations.
Matt Reamer
Matt Reamer was born in Baltimore, MD and is a senior in the Sociology Department at SFSU. He currently works at the Making Waves Education Program in Richmond, CA, and does social justice organizing around the prison industrial complex with an organization called Let's Get Free. Upon completion of his B.A., he plans to become a middle school teacher.
Lolita Smith
Lolita Smith is a senior in Urban Studies; graduating in Spring 2003. She is interested in education and child welfare services, and plans to attend graduate school in New York.
Cynthia Tawasha
Cynthia Tawasha is a senior in Urban Studies who has studied sustainable development in Cuba and consulted for the Mission Housing Development Corporation. She is presently an intern for the SF Arts Commission, a city agency whose programs integrate the arts into all aspects of city life. Cynthia also studies and performs Middle Eastern percussion.
Alicia Thorndike
Alicia Thorndike is a junior in the Urban Studies Program at SFSU, with an emphasis on public policy. She is also a social justice activist on campus and in the greater San Francisco community.
Natalie Wasil
Natalie Wasil is a junior at San Francisco State University studying psychology and dance. She plans to leave for a year of study abroad in Paris beginning in the fall, and hopes to one day apply her knowledge in both psychology and movement to help people lead richer and healthier lives.
Mike Zinser
Mike Zinser is a returning student at SFSU interested in contributing to housing solutions. His career history includes a background in structural design, drawing and document compliance, construction practices and residential building repair. His New England roots keep him looking for the practical solution for today's residential problems. He champions the cause of the little guy and is a hopeless Red Sox and A's fan.
