Your papers should be as close to the final version as possible. They should include footnotes or endnotes in the appropriate places. These notes, however, can be in draft form.
All papers must be posted to Blackboard as Word Document attachments no later than noon on the Monday before the class. If you do not use Microsoft Word, please try to save your document as a Word Document. If you are not using Microsoft Word, try a trial run next week with one of your earlier papers to make sure that you can post your paper properly. Don’t wait until the last minute to attempt this trial run.
All students must read all papers. Be sure to check the course web page over the weekend to
obtain a copy of the paper.
Commentators should be sure to address the following questions:
What is the central theme of this paper?
What are the primary and secondary sources?
How well has the author used his/her evidence to support his/her arguments?
Is this paper well organized? How could the organization be improved?
How might the author improve the paper in general in the final draft?
