LATE PAPER POLICY

Late papers will be accepted. Any paper not handed in on the day that it is due (except term papers) will be considered a late paper. All late papers must be handed in before the next assignment is due.  The following penalties will be imposed on late papers:

1. Late papers will be graded at the discretion and convenience of the instructor. They will not be returned with the other papers. In most cases they will be returned along with the next assignment.

2. Late papers will receive a reduced grade. The penalty will increase as time passes. The penalty on all late papers will start at 1/3 of a grade, i.e., a B will become a B-. The penalty will increase by 1/3 of a grade for every two weeks the paper is late until the penalty has reached a full grade.

3. There will be no exceptions made to this policy. If you are having difficulties keeping up with the course work or the course assignments, please see me as early in the semester as possible, so that we might work something out. Please note that chronic lateness will significantly affect your grade.
