Basic Displays of Information

Displays of information are meant to convey a large amount of information in highly organized and easily digestible form.  Good displays should be clear, concise, and accurate.  If you are sharing your research with unsophisticated audiences, you should probably only use relatively simple displays.  Complex displays like box plots should only be used with fairly sophisticated audiences.  The basic forms of information displays are:
