Rita Melendez
is currently working
on several research projects: an examination of Latino
adolescents and safer sex, gay and bisexual Latino men and their gender expression, and an examination of
transgender HIV safety issues.
Dr.
Melendez is beginning to work on a new project examining African
American churches and women's HIV safety.
