Elective Seminars
At least one-two* courses in areas of specialization selected from the following: 

PLSI 711 Topics in American Politics - 4 units
PLSI 721 Topics in Comparative Politics - 4 units
PLSI 731 Topics in Political Theory - 4 units
* Students who elect to take comprehensive exams must take two graduate political science seminars listed above (8 units). Students who write a thesis need only take one graduate seminar from the courses listed above (4 units).

**Additional graduate seminars and/or upper division undergraduate courses in political science or related fields upon advisement and approval of graduate coordinator (10 units).
