Journal of Chinese Political Science is a refereed academic journal published by the Association of Chinese Political Studies (ACPS). The journal publishes theoretical, policy, and empirical research articles, research notes, and review articles on contemporary Chinese politics across the whole spectrum of political science. JCPS articles are abstracted and indexed in OCLC PAIS International, International Political Science Abstracts, Historical Abstracts, etc. The journal publishes two issues per year.

The journal is now under the editorial direction of Dr. Sujian Guo, Assistant Professor of Political Science, who serves as the editor of the journal and a board member of ACPS. ACPS and JCPS gratefully acknowledge all the support provided by the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the Department of Political Science at San Francisco State University. BSS College supports its faculty members in their efforts to serve the academic community and play a leadership role in it.
