Applied Psychology Research Laboratory
Research in Decision Making in Applied Contexts
The Applied Psychology Research Laboratory provides
graduate and undergraduate students at SFSU an opportunity to conduct research
under the supervision of Dr. Kathleen Mosier.
The primary focus of the Applied Psychology Research Laboratory
is to conduct original research
on decision making in various applied and professional settings. Graduate and undergraduate students under Dr. Mosier's
guidance work with private and public organizations to examine issues in decision making and to develop solutions and interventions. In the past, projects in the
lab have been funded by NASA and the San Francisco Police Department.
Current projects are focused on contextual factors eliciting particular decision-making strategies, and on physician-patient shared decision making. To learn more about these projects please go
