Economics 612 / 812

Economics 612/812 deals with international economics by introducing students to the theoretical and applied problems of international finance in the modern global economy as well as in an historic context. The course includes a variety of international financial topics including multinational corporations, balance of payments, and balance of payment adjustments, foreign exchange markets, and exchange rate determination, macroeconomic policy in an open economy, international monetary systems and current problems in the international monetary sphere.
