Managing Editor: Megan Price
Currently a student of International Relations at SFSU, Megan will receive her bachelor’s degree May of 2008. Prior to becoming Managing Editor of the San Francisco State University Journal of International Relations, Megan participated as a student editor during her first semester at State and enjoyed it so much she continued on to manage the publication. From a young age, Megan was interested in other nations and cultures and knew she wanted to explore the world. At age 20 she traveled to Europe where she enjoyed the people, sights and sounds for two months. Her travels have since taken her to over a dozen countries including Malaysia, Belize and Guatemala. Finding particular interest and beauty in the lesser developed countries she visited, Megan decided to focus her studies on Third World Development in an effort to understand why some nations are rich and others are poor. Megan hopes to travel to Africa and visit more of the Caribbean nations before continuing on to pursue an MBA with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility.

His undergraduate thesis explores the debacle of rationalism in the process of risk assessment, arguing that constructivism can act as a bridge between the material and reflectivist paradigms, enabling risk assessors to improve their craft by using the full arsenal of human knowledge.
