Dr. JoAnn Aviel, Professor of international relations. Research interests include: Comparative Politics and Foreign Policy, International Organization, Policy Analysis, Latin American Policy Analysis. |
Sanjoy Banerjee,
Professor of International Relations, teaches courses on international relations theory and methodology, as well as on South and Southeast Asia. His research interests include the same topics. He as publications in the areas of historical structural analysis, the role of national identity and narratives in foreign policy, artificial intelligence in international politics, and political economy.

Jean-Marc F. Blanchard, Associate professor of international relations, Associate Director of the Center for U.S.-China Policy Studies, and Graduate Coordinator. Teaches courses in international political economy, multinational corporations, globalization, and Chinese foreign policy. Research interests include multinationals, the political economy of national security (sanctions and incentives), and Chinese foreign security and economic policy. Ph.D. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania. |
Sophie Clavier, Assistant professor of international relations. Teaches comparative criminal justice in the Criminal Justice Program and fundamental international relations theory and analysis, and international organizations and world order in International Relations. Diploma in international public law from the University of Paris au Pantheon-Sorbonne. Research interests include immigration issues in France, international trade law, and human rights issues. |
Burcu Akan Ellis, Assistant professor of international relations. Teaches courses in transnational relations of Muslim societies and core courses in international relations. Ph.D in international relations from American University. Research interests include identity formation within the Muslim communities of the Balkans, and gender and transnationalism among young Turkish elite. |
David Fischer,Diplomat in residence for the department of international relations. Research interests include: US Foreign Policy, Globalization and Information Technology, Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction. |

Amy SkoniecznyAssistant Professor of International Relations. Teaches courses in US Foreign Policy, international political economy, IR Theory, research and methods. Ph.D (May 2008) in Political Science from University of Minnesota. Research interests include social construction of US trade politics, societal influence on US foreign policy, and social theory and narratives in global political economy. |
Angelika Von Wahl, Assistant professor of political science and international relations. Teaches courses in the politics of Western Europe and the European Union and foreign relations of Western Europe, the EU and NATO. Ph.D. in political science from Free University of Berlin, Germany. Research interests include the development of welfare states and labor markets, democracy and social policy, European politics, gender and sexuality, social movements, immigration and citizenship, nationality and nationalism. |
