Research
The Proposed Indies Institute engages in research into the Early Modern Period, using economics as a hypothesis for human behavior, to undersand the shaping of the Modern world. Our goal in research is both for broadening and expanding academic understanding as well as public outreach.
One of the major projects for the proposed institute is creating of a worldwide historical input-output model to begin an understanding of national accounts throughout the Early Modern period.

Asia Minor-Europe
Asia Minor was one end of the Silk Road, from which the European nations sought the riches of the Far East.
Europe was the stage of intense rivalry as each nation fought with each other for trade and military supremecy.
