The Science 269 Computer Lab is available for History, Anthropology and C.A.D students. All students are welcome when there are free computers. Question? Contact History Department at 415-338-1604. Thanks!

Lab hours Fall semester 2007:

Monday: 9 - 12 and 12:30 - 5
Tuesday 9 - 12 and 12:30 - 3:30
Wednesday 9 - 12
 Thursday: 9-12
Friday: 9-3

There is an alternate computer lab in HSS 383


HOW TO
use the Computer Work Room

SIGN IN. Make sure you fill out all the relevant information including computer work station #, time in (later time out), department.

Use the computer you are checked in at ONLY.

Be aware of the 1 hour time guideline if there are others waiting to use a computer; please relinquish it when you have exceeded a hour of use.

Printing is handled by the one-card system. Print jobs will be released when you pay.

The safest method of saving your personal files is to e-mail them to yourself.  You may also use a Flash drive to save files.

Lab must be used within the posted hours.

Please, no food or drink. SCI 270 the Commons room is available for eating and studying.

DO NOT install, modify, or otherwise irritate existing software. Do not change backgrounds, do not download internet software, etc.

If there is a problem with your assigned computer that will not solve itself, ASK the attendant BEFORE rebooting. Again, DO NOT REBOOT.
