Graduate Assistants

The department has need of qualified graduate students as assistants for lower-division survey classes. Their major duty is to grade exams or papers, with the total time of 35 hours per course per semester. The rate of pay is modest - about $10/hr- but if you are planning to teach or apply for Doctoral study, this can be valuable experience to list on your application. If you are interested, either stop by the History Department office and ask for an application, or print one out and drop it off at the History Department.
