Economics Students Association
The ESA is a student run organization dedicated to
sponsoring and promoting academic and social events for economics students
and faculty. Their non-university sponsored
ESA web-page has
more details on upcoming events. Please also look at or
News and Events page for more
activities.
Past events have included lunchtime presentations and social gatherings.
The lunchtime presentations are an informal discussion of recent research
work or an area of special interest, presented by a faculty member from the
Economics Department or a special guest speaker.
The social gatherings are an opportunity for students and faculty to get
to know one another in an informal environment, and usually take place in a
local bar or pub. All upcoming events will be posted at this site.
ESA currently needs student volunteers, interested in leadership experience,
to help organize and promote future events. To volunteer, or for any other
reason,
subscribe to gatoreconomics.
