June 26: Fall Registration Update
The University has provided a calendar with the new dates for Fall registration for final priority registration and transfer students. If you need advising, please contact Ken Walsh (415-420-1275) or Jeff Snipes (jsnipes@sfsu.edu) to set up an appointment.

June 1: Summer office hours
The CJ office will be open during the summer. The hours for R1 (June 8-July 10) will be Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 9:30-1:00. From July 13 through the end of the summer the office will be open daily from 9:30-1:00. Click here for faculty office hours.

April 29: Fall 2009 Schedule
The updated CJ Schedule is now online. Please click here to see all CJ courses as well as courses from other departments that count towards the major.

April 17: Study Spaces for spring
While the library is still out of commission as a place to sit and study, the University has designated other rooms around campus for this purpose. Please click here to see a list of rooms and times where you can study on campus.

April 6: End of Year Event Tickets on Sale Now!
Stop by HSS 336 to get your tickets for the CJ End of Year Event. All graduating seniors are invited. Please see the webpage for important information. Tickets will be on sale Mondays 10-1 and 2-5, and Tuesday thru Friday from 10-1.

March 18: Attention Graduating Seniors!
You are invited to attend the Criminal Justice End of the Year Event - our annual dinner and awards ceremony to honor the graduates. The event will be Friday, May 22nd, 6:00-9:00pm. For more information and how and when to buy tickets, please see our End of Year Event page.

March 18: Summer class offerings
Click here for the finalized list of courses offered this Summer that count towards the CJ major or minor. Registration for Summer will begin April 6. Check MySFSU for your registration date and time.

January 27: Advising
If you need to speak with a CJ advisor, please contact them directly to set up an appointment or see here for open office hours and contact information.

January 26: Welcome back!
Here are some important dates for the Spring semester:
2/6 - Last day to add classes with permit #
2/20 - Last day to add/drop classes
3/20 - Last day to request CR/NC grading
3/23-3/27 - Spring Break
3/31 - Cesar Chavez Day (school closed)
4/24 - Last day to withdraw

December 1: Spring 2009 Courses
Please click here for the updated schedule of CJ courses and courses from other departments that count toward the CJ major/minor. Registration begins 12/8, check your MySFSU for your date and time.

November 20: Save the Date - CJ Mixer 12/11
Our annual CJ Student/Faculty Mixer will be Thursday, December 11th from 3:30-6:00pm in the Rosa Parks room in the student center. Please join us for some free food and a brief presentation by Target regarding job opportunities with their company.

November 12: CJ 680 offered Winter Session
CJ 680: Field Course in Criminal Justice will be offered during Winter Session 2009. Classes run January 2-20. Online registration begins on November 17. Please visit www.cel.sfsu.edu/winter for more information.

October 30: Study Rooms Fall 08
With the library closure, there are now alternate locations on campus available as study spaces. They will be open from now through December 15th (but will be closed when campus is closed 11/11 & 11/24-11/28). A list of these study spaces is available at http://www.sfsu.edu/newlibrary/studyspaces.html.

September 18: New - Criminal Justice Library Resources Guide
Check out the new Library Resources Guide online at http://libguides.sfsu.edu/criminaljustice. It contains library resources and research information that relate specifically to Criminal Justice.
