| San Francisco State University in
partnership with the National
Park Service, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and the Presidio Trust
is offering undergraduate and graduate students internships in the
Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA). As an intern at a
National Park in the Bay Area, students can enrich their educational experience
and further develop a career path by applying academic knowledge in a practical
setting working directly with mentors on projects in the GGNRA.
Internships are offered in the areas of cultural resources, archives,
natural resources, education, and administration. To sign up for a National Park Service Internship (CAS 580) you must attend the SFSU orientation meeting Fall 2006 (it was Tuesday September 5th). Remember, you must be a junior or higher with a minimum 3.0 GPA. This website is designed to offer information and resources for prospective interns and hosts information on past internships. |
