This course examines several major environmental problems at global, state and local levels.  We will discuss basic ecological concepts and mechanisms involved and the impact of these phenomenon on ecological systems including effects on animals, plants and humans. We will also discuss solutions and strategies to improve the environmental at these various scales.  Solutions include ones at levels that include policy, personal choice, business practices, innovation and deepening connection.
