 Minor Program
 
These are the requirements for students who have declared anthropology as their minor before
 Fall 2007.

The Department of Anthropology offers two concentrations in the Minor of Anthropology. Each consists of a total of 21 units.

The program requirements for Minor in Anthropology are:

ANTH 100 Introduction to Biological Anthropology 3 Units
ANTH 110 Introduction to Archaeology 3 Units
ANTH 120 Introduction to Social & Cultural Anthropology 3 Units
ANTH 310 Family, Kin and Community 3 Units
ANTH 315 Regional Ethnography (variable topic) 3 Units
     Plus 6 upper division units on advisement  

The program requirements for Minor in Ethnographic Methods in Anthropology are:

ANTH 120 Introduction to Social & Cultural Anthropology 3 Units
ANTH 310 Family, Kin and Community 3 Units
ANTH 651 Ethnographic Field Methods 6 Units
ANTH 652 Anthropological Statistics 3 Units
     Plus 6 upper division units on advisement
