August 21: Public Administration and Urban Studies & Planning Alumni Brown Bag Lectures
Join the Departments of Public Administration and Urban Studies & Planning for the first in a series of alumni Brown Bags Lectures.  This is a chance to connect with professionals in the field and their current research as well as reconnect with alumni in the Bay Area.  On September 11 at 12:15--1:30pm the lecturer is on California's Economy and the Housing Market with Jed Kolko,

Due to the holiday on September 1, the first day for Monday classes will be September 8.

August 5: Prospective Student Informational Sessions
SF State's MPA Department will be having prospective student informational sessions in September and October. Check our website for updates.

July 22:  New Student Orientation Sessions
The MPA Department's new student orientation sessions will be on Thursday, August 28 from 5-6pm and Friday, August 29 from 2-3 pm in 516 of SF State's Downtown Campus, 835 Market Street.  These orientation sessions are for MPA students admitted Fall 2008.  Student only need to attend one of the sessions.  Please RSVP to the department at mpa@sfsu.edu

January 16: A Smart Move
The Department of Public Administration has moved to SF State's Downtown Campus at 835 Market Street on 5th floor in room 515.  All faculty offices and courses will be at the downtown campus.
